Library
The school library is open to all bonafied students of the school. All class from Classes-I on wards are provided with at least one library period per week.Reading materials reference books and Educational CD’s catering to the different levels varied interests provide an opportunity to cultivate reading habits here.
Students have to observe the following rules:
- Students must maintain discipline with absolute silence in the library.
- Students should not bring their personal books in the library (if needed not books are permitted with due permission of the librarian).
- Students are permitted to get the books issued from library for a period of one week.
- If books are not returned in time without a valid reason the facility of books to be issued with, will be withdrawn for two weeks.
- Reference books should be referred to only in the library, and shall not be issued.
- Journal, Magazines and Periodicals will not be issued.
- The library has an open access system an students must help to maintain order and organization in the shelves. They must keep the books in the shelves after consultation, and not just anywhere.
- Books marked, defaced/disfigured of damaged will have to be replaced by a new one; otherwise the cost of the book will be borne by the student.
- Any student found damaging books or any other library property will be fined and debarred form using the library for the whole academic year.
- The library will remain open on all working days except on the days of examinations.
- The library books are issued for a period of seven day appointed for each class.
- Only one book will be issued at a time on the day appointed for each class.
- The Students must check carefully before borrowing the books ad report to be librarian on the spot, if they find the book damaged, or they will beheld responsible for the same.
- Reference books are meant for reading in the library only.
